What scan tool do I need?

Any ELM327-compatible OBD2 adapter works for uploading logs. For FORScan, you need a modified ELM327 cable (~$20). For GM enhanced PIDs, an OBDLink MX+ is recommended.

What file formats are supported?

OBD2 generic CSV, FORScan CSV, Autel MaxiSys exports, HP Tuners datalogs, and most other scan tool CSV exports.

Does this replace my scan tool?
